What is the Out-of-Stock widget?

The Out-of-Stock widget is designed to appear on the product page of your store when an item is out-of-stock. A prompt is shown to allow customers to opt-in to receive a notification when this item is back in stock, via their preferred channel — WhatsApp, SMS or Facebook Messenger.

Once you, as merchant, have restocked this item, the Back-in-Stock alert will automatically send this customer a message via the channel they selected, letting them know that the item is available for purchase again.

This enables you to make sales on items that were previously out-of-stock by notifying customers who previously expressed high interest in buying them.
